                                          Joseph J. Romm

 Joseph J.Romm was born in June 27th in 1960, he is a physicist turned author, he’s also a blogger and a climate expert. He’ve got a rentless blog where he speaks about the importance of climate changing and where he defend the idea of reducing greenhouse gas. In his blog he also mention the global warming and encourages increasing energy security through energy efficiency, green energy technologies and green transportation technologies.

He was named in Rolling stone magazine’s list of 100 people who are changing America. Then he was honored to be one of the Heroes of the Environment by Time magazine he was also  “The Web’s most influential climate-change blogger" . He is one of the most influencial bloggers campaigning against climate change.In 2010 a selection of his blog postings were published as a book he called Straight Up.

Joe Romm is a Fellow at American Progress and is the Founding Editor of Climate Progress, which New York Times columnist Tom Friedman called "the indispensable blog" and Time magazine named one of the 25 "Best Blogs of 2010." In 2009, Rolling Stone put Romm #88 on its list of 100 "people who are reinventing America." 

Romm also wrote in 2006 his book, Hell and High Water in which  he summarized observations and forecasts of climate change, discussed technology and policy solutions, and criticized political disinformation used to undermine climate science. Romm's 2012 book, Language Intelligence, concerns persuasion and the effective use of rhetoric. He was the Chief Science Advisor for the 2014 Emmy Award-winning documentary series Years of Living Dangerously. His 2015 book, Climate Change: What Everyone Needs to Know, covers basic climate science in a Q&A format.
